Oscar’s Book Prize is an annual prize of £10,000 for the best under-fives book. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the annual in-person charity event was not able take place, therefore we were asked to produce a live stream event to announce the winner.
We helped the Oscar’s Book Prize team brief contributors, including the charity’s Royal Patron HRH Princess Beatrice and judges Lorraine Kelly, Angellica Bell and Axel Scheffler, to use smartphones to record their videos.
Hosted by Chairman James Ashton the event also features the six shortlisted authors and premières a very special reading of the winner’s book, The Littlest Yak, by Lu Fraser and Kate Hindley.
We also delivered subtitled cut-down videos of each finalist, which were distributed across social media in the run up to the event live stream on YouTube Tuesday 11th May 2021.
This was a complex lockdown project featuring numerous contributors that Digitom succeeded in delivering on time and ahead of specification.
