THE BRIEF
The South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP) was one of 38 LEPs, established to provide the clear vision and strategic leadership to drive sustainable private sector-led growth and job creation across East Sussex, Essex, Kent, Medway, Southend and Thurrock.
When COVID-19 struck, SELEP faced the challenge of inducting new board members while adhering to government lockdown restrictions that prevented in-person training. We were asked to help create an e-learning module on a tight deadline.
OUR APPROACH
We proposed a creative approach for a voiceover-led module that combined character animation, iconography, and kinetic typography.
Collaborating closely with SELEP’s communications team, we developed a storyboard that followed existing brand guidelines, structured around chapters to clearly identify each section of legislation.
Our team successfully delivered the entire project remotely within 7 days, ensuring that SELEP’s first online meeting went ahead as scheduled.
Digitom understood very quickly the style and tone we were looking for. They were able to make suggestions which aided the communication of this complex message, enabling us to continue making important decisions to strengthen our economy and support our communities, when we emerge from the COVID-19 crisis.
