Production of an internal training video
THE BRIEF
Stagecoach is one of the largest bus operators in the UK, serving the community and enabling around 2.5 million customer journeys every day. We were briefed to produce a training video to explain the new first use inspection safety requirements and demonstrate how to use the newly introduced vehicle defect card, rolled out across the country.
OUR APPROACH
Collaborating closely with the Operations team, we storyboarded the content into five e-learning modules. We suggested a presenter-led format, featuring two bus drivers who guide viewers through the inspection process.
Filmed over two days at the Thanet depot, the films provide an introduction to the legal requirements for daily vehicle inspections, followed by detailed coverage of various external and internal checks across the bus.
Distributed across Stagecoach’s internal communications platform Blink, the e-learning films form an essential requirement for training 23,000 colleagues across the UK.
Digitom produced these videos from start to finish with very minimal brief from us, we are very happy with the outcome.
