Graduate programme

British Transport Police is the national force responsible for keeping the rail network across England, Scotland and Wales safe for passengers, staff and operators.

The brief

Frontline policing on the rail network demands fast decision-making, sound judgement and compassionate support for vulnerable people in a complex public environment.

We were commissioned to create a British Transport Police graduate recruitment film for candidates with a Professional Policing degree, helping attract applicants ready for the responsibility and pace of frontline policing.

Our approach

Working with the British Transport Police recruitment team, we developed a clear, high-impact creative treatment designed to engage graduate audiences and communicate the realities of the role.

The film uses curated library footage, kinetic typography and animation to explain the role, highlight officer responsibilities and showcase the rail environment they operate in.

This created a focused, accessible recruitment film for digital campaigns, university events and wider graduate outreach.

The outcome

The film became part of a national British Transport Police graduate recruitment campaign.

It was shared on YouTube, featured on the British Transport Police careers website, promoted across digital channels and used at university recruitment events throughout the UK.

The result is a versatile graduate recruitment film that supports awareness, engagement and application intent at key decision-making moments.
