Maidstone Borough Council | Case Study

Published November 2018

Maidstone Borough Council is the local government authority responsible for delivery of a wide range of public services for Kent’s county town.

With a commitment to reducing waste, increasing recycling rates, and improving sustainability in the area, we were briefed to help educate primary school children about their new food waste collection service. We created a children’s cartoon, featuring The Caddy Family, which formed part of a series of workshops delivered in schools across the borough.

Find out how the campaign achieved its objectives from Maidstone Borough Council’s Communications Manager.

We had about 12,500 people watch the video and it’s still going strong now, because we can roll that message out repeatedly. It was one of our most successful campaigns to date.
