Drive to success

Stagecoach is one of the largest bus operators in the country, provides services that connects communities throughout the Midlands.

The brief

Stagecoach wanted a people and culture film that would support driver recruitment and employer brand communications by representing bus driving as a people-focused career shaped by skill, independence, local knowledge and everyday community connection.

The brief was to create authentic recruitment video content, led by employees giving drivers space to share their experiences, helping potential applicants understand the role.

Our approach

We shaped the film around a documentary-style people and culture approach by filming with four Stagecoach drivers based in Kettering, Rugby and Northampton.

Spending time with each driver on the road helped us capture personal stories of how the role offers independence, variety and a sense of pride delivering a public service.

The outcome

The film supports Stagecoach Midlands’ driver recruitment activity, appearing across YouTube, social media and at careers events, helping the organisation reach candidates across key local areas.

The result is grounded, credible communications content that helps people picture themselves in the role and demonstrating how employee stories can strengthen recruitment, culture and brand.
