Production of a film testing Electric Vehicles
As the police force for Scotland, England, and Wales, British Transport Police is responsible for making sure that the railways are safe and secure for rail operators, their employees, and passengers across the country.
We were briefed to produce a film showcasing the story of their extensive testing of electric vehicles as part of the force’s mission to tackle climate change and adopt electric vehicles, in line with their Net Zero Carbon strategy and two years ahead of the government target.
With just two weeks to complete the production, we proposed a creative treatment that showcased a self-authored story, capturing the team on location during their intensive track tests at the Millbrook Vehicle Proving Ground.
We combined trackside and in-vehicle filming using a mix of broadcast and action cameras, along with aerial drone footage, to provide comprehensive coverage of the testing.
This may be my favourite piece of content we’ve created for colleagues this year so far, thanks to the epic team at Digitom.
