Production of a recruitment film
As the police force for Scotland, England, and Wales, British Transport Police is responsible for making sure that the railways are safe and secure for rail operators, their employees, and passengers across the country. Frontline policing requires its people to deal with the same challenges as a Police Officer in any other Force, but within a unique environment.
No two days are ever the same, which means having the ability to adapt to different situations and show compassion when helping those with vulnerability issues. We were briefed to produce a recruitment film to attract applicants for police officer roles in London.
We suggested a creative treatment that captured the day-to-day reality of what it’s like to work for British Transport Police and have a positive impact on society. Featuring officers from London’s B-Division we created a dynamic, self-authored film that shares insight on the roles.
Filmed across East London, we spent time with a specialist drone response unit, and patrols onboard Transport for London’s Elizabeth Line and around Liverpool Street Station. The film is available on YouTube, with several short-form cutdowns for social media, all with English and Welsh subtitles and delivered in multiple aspect ratios.
