Re-joiners and Transferees | British Transport Police
Production of a recruitment campaign
Production of a recruitment campaign
As the police force for Scotland, England, and Wales, British Transport Police is responsible for making sure that the railways are safe and secure for rail operators, their employees, and passengers across the country.
Frontline policing requires its people to deal with the same challenges as a Police Officer in any other Force, but within a unique environment. No two days are ever the same, which means having the ability to adapt to different situations and show compassion when helping those with vulnerability issues. We were briefed to produce a recruitment film to attract applicants for Re-joiners and Transferee roles.
Working closely with the recruitment team, we suggested a creative treatment that features self-authored stories from a Police Constable and Detective Constable, offering insight into the roles, interspersed with slow-motion scenes around their offices and Birmingham New Street train station.
Distributed on YouTube and embedded on BTP’s website. In addition to the full version, we also provided shorter cut-downs for social media, subtitled in both English and Welsh.
