Stagecoach is one of the largest bus operators in the country, providing services that connects communities across Kent and East Sussex.
The brief
As a visible part of daily life, frontline colleagues regularly interact with the public, but increasingly they face unacceptable incidents of verbal and physical abuse.
Stagecoach briefed us to create content for a Zero Tolerance campaign that would clearly communicate one message: violence or abuse towards colleagues will not be accepted under any circumstances.
The brief called for purposeful campaign films that were credible felt credible, human and respectful of the people affected. The content also needed to work across digital, social and PR channels.
Our approach
Collaborating with PR and marketing agency Maxim, we developed an animated communications campaign made up of three short films.
Each film was shaped by a frontline colleague’s experience, carefully re-enacted by an actor to protect identities.
Animation allowed us to handle sensitive subject matter with care, focusing attention on the impact of abuse rather than graphic detail.
This approach created space for empathy and reflection, supporting Stagecoach’s wider commitment to colleague wellbeing and community responsibility.
What the client said

The outcome
The Zero Tolerance campaign films launched on YouTube, gaining significant regional coverage, including BBC News and local newspapers, helping the message reach audiences beyond Stagecoach’s own channels.
The result was a clear, consistent and human campaign that strengthened the bus operators communications around colleague wellbeing, community respect and safer shared spaces.
