Improving healthcare comms

Horder Healthcare is a leading independent healthcare provider delivering orthopaedic and musculoskeletal care for NHS and private patients across Kent and Sussex.

The challenge

With over 500 colleagues working across multiple sites and increased pressure on healthcare staff, internal engagement is a priority, maintaining a strong sense of connection and shared purpose is essential to how the organisation operates.

Our brief focused on strengthening internal communications, creating videos that helped people feel informed, valued and part of one organisation. The aim was to build a regular, trusted channel that connected colleagues with the Executive Team in a more open and approachable way.

How we helped

Our approach was to create monthly internal communications films featuring Horder Healthcare’s Executive Team. These films were designed to be clear, honest and people‑led, helping messages land in a way that felt natural.

By using video as a consistent internal communications tool, the organisation was able to improve engagement, lift morale and create a stronger sense of connection across sites. The films helped bring leadership closer to staff and supported a more positive and inclusive workplace culture.

The outcome

Horder Healthcare chose to work with us because they needed more than a production supplier. They wanted a partner who understood the role internal communications play in shaping culture, especially during periods of change.

Our experience in creating purposeful, people‑led internal communications meant we could guide the approach, not just deliver the films.

By focusing on clarity, empathy and trust, we helped the organisation communicate in a way that felt authentic to both leadership and staff.
