Food allergies

Medthority, created by EPG Health, is an award-winning medical education platform that provides accessible, evidence-based resources for healthcare professionals worldwide.

The brief

As part of a learning and development initiative, our client commissioned an animation to help healthcare professionals build a fuller understanding of the lived experience of food allergies in children.

The goal was to combine medical accuracy with patient-centred insight, creating a digital learning resource that supports confident, compassionate clinical practice.

Our approach

Working closely with EPG Health, we created a voiceover-led healthcare animation following a young patient and parent through a paediatric consultation.

Designed as an e-learning resource for healthcare professionals, the film combines treatment guidance with patient experience in a clear, practical format.

Using a script from EPG Health’s medical writers, we turned complex clinical content into an engaging visual learning experience through character animation, kinetic typography and iconography.

What the client said

“This had to be scientifically accurate and resonate with HCP’s to incorporate patient wellbeing in their consultations.

“Digitom understood the brief from the get-go, employing an array of creative techniques.”

The outcome

The animation gave Medthority a high-value digital learning resource that supports healthcare professionals in understanding food allergy care through both clinical insight and patient perspective.

By bringing together evidence-based messaging and human-centred storytelling, the film helps enrich professional education and support meaningful clinical conversations.

This project highlights how healthcare animation can enhance learning and development by turning specialist information into engaging, evidence-based education for professional audiences.
