Paediatric psoriasis

Medthority, created by EPG Health, is a trusted online medical platform offering independent, evidence-based clinical content for healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists.

The brief

This project was designed to create a healthcare education resource that combines evidence-based clinical information with patient-centred insight.

Focusing on paediatric psoriasis, the content gives healthcare professionals a richer understanding of the young patient journey, supporting professional development through clinical context, empathy, and real-world relevance.

Our approach

Working with EPG Health, we created a voiceover-led animation series following four stages of the patient journey. From initial paediatric consultation to current treatments, clinical trials, and emerging therapies, the series delivers a clear, cohesive learning experience for healthcare audiences.

Using scripts from EPG Health’s medical team, we turned complex clinical content into a clear visual narrative. Character animation and detailed scientific sequences support knowledge retention while linking clinical understanding with patient experience.

The result shows how educational storytelling can improve engagement, understanding, and recall of specialist healthcare content.

What the client said

“Keen to elevate the emotional burden of a child suffering with a long term condition, Digitom’s development of the story and animation really brought this to life.”

The outcome

The animations gave Medthority a structured e-learning resource that supports healthcare professional education in paediatric psoriasis and broadens understanding of the young patient experience.

By combining human-centred storytelling with scientific rigour, the films support confident, informed, and empathetic communication in clinical practice.

The project highlights the value of animation within learning and development programmes, especially for organisations looking to communicate complex health topics with clarity, credibility, and engagement.
